lucid non legge hard disk

volevo provare lucid e dopo averlo scaricato controllato md5 e masterizzato, provo ad avviare la live.
sorpresa lucid non riconosce il mio hard disk, neppure gparted (sulla live di lucid) lo legge.

lo stesso dove ho installato la 9.10 senza problemi.

Non ho molte soluzioni:
1) prova a selezionare la voce "Installa Ubuntu" (alla partenza del CD) e vedi se il disco viene riconosciuto in fase di installazione;
2) provare a creare una copia avviabile su penna usb e vedere se il problema si risolve

grazie per l'interessamento, ho già provato queste soluzioni ma niente.
evidentemente lucid non ha i driver precaricati per il mio hd.
strano che le versioni precedenti lo riconoscono forse hanno fatto delle modifche a mount di lucid.

Stranissimo.. prova a chiedere sul forum di ubuntu-it oppure su Linux Help Quality, mi spiace ma non ho idea del problema.

Un HD è una periferica terminale, non credo che c'entri molto lui. Forse dipende dal chipset della tua scheda madre.

Intel i5. Vedo in rete che sta dando diversi problemi, e tutti proprio con le ultime release di Ubuntu mentre con le precedenti 9.10 no.
Principalmente (ma non solo) per l'audio.

Credo che tu debba dare un po' un'occhiata in giro ed aspettare qualche soluzione a livello di kernel/driver.
